OUR STORY

Hi!  My name is Wendy, and I'm the founder and owner of The Bling Hut.  I started my first business in 2013, called The Headband Shack, and I made headbands that I would sell online and at craft shows.  I wanted to make my headbands more customized, so I started to personalize them with school names, team names and player numbers.  After finding my supply of heat transfer vinyl colors to be very limited and expensive by shopping at the local craft stores, I started looking online for other supply sources...that's when I found a company that sold not only heat transfer vinyl, but also rhinestones and all of the equipment to make rhinestone transfers and designs...I was intrigued! 

When one of my daughters was younger, she was into cheer, and I had purchased a Rhinestone sweatshirt for her with the team logo on it. Not only that, I had also purchased a rhinestone window decal for the back of my car with her team logo and customized with her name on it too.  I just thought it was the coolest thing...the way it glittered in the sun, and I wondered why I didn't see more of these decals on other cars.  Well, the place where I was ordering the vinyl for my headbands, also sold the materials to make rhinestone car decals too, so I just had to find out more about this process.  About 6 months later, I went to a convention where they were demonstrating how to make rhinestone apparel and decals, and I was hooked!  I brought my husband back there the next day, and we bought all the equipment to start a vinyl & rhinestone apparel and accessory business!!  

I have spent a LOT of time learning everything I can about how to make unique custom rhinestone and vinyl designs.  I have been selling shirts and accessories to friends and co-workers and have started getting a lot of referral business from people who have worn the shirts I've made.  I've decided it's time to take my business to the next level and get them online where I can reach a much larger audience.  I love making unique designs and I especially LOVE seeing the reaction of people when they receive a special shirt, bag, apron or other accessory designed just for them!! I really hope I get the opportunity to make something special just for YOU!!!
